Hi and welcome to Stonewall News and Gossip. Sydney’s premier gay venue has been one non stop party of late. So if you have missed out this is a chance to catch up on what’s been going on.

STONEWALL “THE ADDICTION CD LAUNCH”

The launch night on the 25th Jan was a huge success and a big thank you to Luke Leal for mixing the CD and everyone involved.

Stonewall “the addiction” can now be purchased in all major record stores around Australia or from Stonewall Hotel, 175 Oxford street Darlinghurst or buy online at www.stonewallhotel.com .

This is an amazing double CD of energetic dance music. The first CD features vocal house reflecting our Cocktail bar, the second uplifting trance you would hear in the Club bar.

This is a great CD for parties, cruising in your car or to play while getting ready for that big night out at Stonewall.

Stonewall "the addiction" will also be touring this month with special launches in Brisbane at Fluffy on the 12th Feb and Canberra at the Cube on Feb 17th.

STONEWALL CELEBRITIES.

Last month we had the very beautiful Kate Fisher along with restaurateurs Will and Toby along for some Karaoke. Kate had a great time and with her new body thanks to Celebrity overhaul, made her confidence radiant.

The Stonewall CD launch had the cream of the crop with record companies, radio personalities and of course the amazing Carlotta.

Jacki Weaver one of Sydney’s most loved actresses attended a book launch on Friday in the Cocktail Bar at Stonewall. The book launch for Michael D. Cambell’s latest book “Perverted Justice” had the Cocktail Bar filled with Celebrities, Judges and Drag queens.

Lisa McGuigen from Tempus Two donated a bottle of wine with every book sold. $2.00 from every book sold went to charity ($1 each to the Luncheon Club and the Starlight Foundation).

WHAT”S NEW!

Paul Goodyear is now playing in the Stonewall Cocktail bar on Sunday’s from 9.30pm. This amazing DJ definitely knows how to get a room pumping, so grab your friends and get along to laid back Sundays. Fantastic tunes and great Cocktails make this night a must.

WHAT’S COMING UP

Mardi Gras that’s what coming! The posters are out, the tickets are selling and Sydney’s biggest yearly party is on its way.

Stonewall will proudly open its doors as the official launch party. So come straight from the Opera House and party on.

There will be a gold coin donation for the Gay and Lesbian Rights lobby on the door. When the festival gets started there is no place like Stonewall. Filled with beautiful international boys all wanting to party.

We have put together some wonderful events and our Mardi Gras Calender for this year is better than ever. The Arrivals party a night to meet and mingle with our overseas friends.

Our International Swimwear Model Competition the night before the big party and Mega Malebox. Don’t miss the Mardi Gras DJ spin off.

NEW SHOWS

Friday has the cast from Company B dancing up a storm. Starring Tess Tickle, Minnie Cooper and the gorgeous Antony.

Saturday night the new line up of Vanity Faire, Stacii Gayski and Maxi Shield will have you screaming for more. Show times 11pm 12am and 1am.

POLLIES FOLLIES

The legendary Polly’s Follies gets bigger and bigger every Sunday. If you’ve always wanted to drag in front of an audience this is your chance.

Just turn up on Sundays at 6.30pm and you will be part of the show. Everyone is welcome.

SAFETY

Door Policy: Stonewall Hotel requires that all patrons wear enclosed footwear after 8pm. This is for safety reasons and no exceptions will be made.

Theft: A rise in theft on Oxford Street has been reported so please be careful of your belongings. Please do not leave bags or phones unattended at any time.

Mardi Gras: is a time of parties and celebrations, but more importantly it is a time to be careful and look after your mates. This party season please look after each other. Please be careful on the streets, keep an eye on your belongings and look after your mates.
Don’t let them drive, take them to a cab and look after them if they have had to much to drink.

Violence: If you see any violence in Stonewall or are being harassed, speak to the Manager on duty or to the security guards.
