JIMMY DEE
Jimmy Dee has performed as a DJ for the past 15 years. At
the age of 19, he landed his first gig at a small bar in Balmain
where he had his first taste of playing to a crowd. Like a
fish to water, jimmy felt connected to the dance floor and
managed to hold a residency at Balmain for 18 month. This
made him realize, that this is what he wanted to pursue. He
then went on to land a gig at the Internationally known (Imperial
Hotel) - Home of Priscilla. After numerous years at the Imperial
Hotel, other club owners noticed Jimmy’s talents, and
soon after he was asked to work at numerous venues and special
events around town.
By 2000, Jimmy’s popularity with the crowds grew and
earned him 5 nomination at the 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005 &
2006 Diva awards for Most Popular DJ, taking home the award
in 2003 & 2004.
Jimmy’s talents have since taken him Internationally
numerous times over the years. He has performed at Gay Pride
and Halloween Dance Parties in West Hollywood and has also
worked numerous times in the USA, Hawaii (Mardi Gras), Europe
(Greece) & New Caledonia.
Locally Jimmy has performed for Mardi Gras, Sleaze Ball,
Big Queer Nation, G.A.Y events & Aqua parties. He currently
holds residencies at Stonewall Hotel (Friday’s), ARQ
Sydney (Saturday’s & Sunday’s), Manacle (Saturday
Mornings), Imperial Hotel (Thursday’s & Friday’s)
& Mr. Mar’s (Friday’s).
Jimmy’s style of music ranges from vocal/uplifting/funky
house, electro, classic anthems and retro.

DAN MURPHY
Dan Murphy is a DJ living it up in Sydney, Australia. With
international experience and a classically trained musical
background, he's played some of the biggest dance events and
most exclusive private parties in the country.
His love of music began when learning the keyboard at age
7. He was awarded a full music scholarship for his high school
education before studying at the Conservatorium of Music on
the Pipe Organ and Piano. Discovering dance music is where
his career in the industry has really taken off.
Dan has held residencies at several Sydney clubs including
Arq, The Midnight Shift, Stonewall and Manacle. His reputation
for being a crowd favourite has lead to requests to perform
at major dance parties including The Boy From Oz Opening Night
Party, Azure Harbour Party, HomeSexual, ToyBox, RawHide, Sleaze
Ball and the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras - the biggest
party of it's kind in the world.
Internationally, Dan has entertained audiences around the
globe in cosmopolitan cites as varied as San Francisco, Singapore,
Seoul and London. Maintaining a community focus is also important,
and Dan volunteers his time and services every year, as well
as hosting a regular fundraiser which has raised thousands
of dollars for the ACON group.
These opportunities have enabled Dan to work alongside some
of his idols, including RuPaul, Jimmy Somerville, Mary Kiani,
Marcia Hines, Chrissie Amplett and Dannii Minogue. Most of
all, Dan's main focus is always ensuring the crowd is enjoying
their ultimate party experience. His music style is uplifting,
vocal and fun, mixing classics with current - and always hands-in-the-air.
